Tabeetha was the vision of Jane Walker-Arnott who founded the school in 1863 beginning with 14 Christian, Jewish and Muslim girls.

Jane died in 1911 and left the school to the Church of Scotland which have run it ever since.

Today, 330 boys and girls from different backgrounds and faiths ,study, work and play together in the spirit of peace and unity.

A documentary about the incredible work of Tabeetha School highlighted on BBC Scotland. This unique school manages to reconcile such a diversion of cultures and religions which elsewhere in the world can not find reconciliation.

It’s an amazing school. We have children from all over the world, all different languages, cultures, religions and traditions. We are sitting in a classroom all together  learning.”
