Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love and friendship . On this day we show our appreciation for people we love by exchanging gifts. For us at Tabeetha school, it is a wonderful opportunity to teach our pupils about meaningful gift-giving – giving gifts to people we don’t know, have no special feelings for or we may not even like.

GO RED DAY is a fundraiser for the charity, Save A Child’s Heart, helping children in need . This is our way to show compassion and love for our community and the  world. On this day all pupils have a non-uniform day, donating 10 NIS to dress up in pink, red or white. There is a bake sale during breaks offering a variety of heart-shaped and yummy goodies. In true Tabeetha fashion, class activities focus on the meaning of friendship, kindness and inclusion. At the end of the day, all pupils gather together in the school yard, exchange cards and take the traditional photo with the red heart balloons. It is a fun day for everybody.

Special thanks to  Ms Rosental, Ms Bishouti, Ms Stout and the Student Councils for organising such a meaningful and unforgettable day.
